Ski brake for jump skis
When not triggered, the ski brake is held on the surface of the ski by a retaining pin. A rope is attached to the retaining pin, which is hooked to the back of the boot in order to hold the boot to the ski in the event of the binding being released incorrectly. The connection to the shoe can be made via a magnetic ring or a loop. If a fall triggers the release, the rope pulls the retaining pin out of the bolt and the pre-tensioned spring pushes the bolt with the ski brake outwards. Thanks to the specified setting on the bolt, it is rotated by 90 degrees so that the ski brake can grip the snow. The strap length can be adjusted on the rope clamp.

This is the only way to release it from the side and block it Frontal release guaranteed. In order not to hinder the release, others are allowed Binding parts such as wedges or rods do not get in the way.
